2026 Colorado Supplemental Application (CSA)

    The 2026 Colorado Supplemental Application (CSA) is now closed.

    It is *critical* to create only *one* account per person. If you applied in the past and cannot remember your password, please contact us for assistance.

    The following information needs to be an exact match on both the Colorado Supplemental Application and the VMCAS Application:
    • NAME (FIRST, MIDDLE, LAST)
    • DATE OF BIRTH
    • EMAIL ADDRESS
    Please Note:
    • If you do not use the same information on both applications, we may have difficulty matching your VMCAS application to your CSA.
    • Do not use the same last name under "Other Last Name."
    • We do not recommend using a school email address since you may lose access to that account.
    DEADLINE
    • Application deadline: September 15, 2025 at 11:59pm ET (9:59pm MT)
    • Application fee: Allow at least 30 minutes to complete the online payment of the $85 application fee to ensure you meet the application deadline. Note: the application fee is non-refundable.

    REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS  *All materials must be submitted by September 15, 2025 at 11:59pm ET (9:59pm MT)

    1.  VMCAS Application + Fee

    • All prerequisite courses – including in-progress and future courses – must be included in the VMCAS application at submission. Coursework you intend to use to fulfill a prerequisite must also be matched in the “prerequisite” section of the VMCAS application. This includes completed, in-progress, and future courses you plan to take. If a course is not matched to a prerequisite in an application, it will be assumed you have not and do not intend to take the required prerequisite and your application will not be further reviewed.
    • 3 letters of recommendation (we highly recommend one be written by a veterinarian and suggest selecting an academic and employment source for the remaining two).
    • Your VMCAS application status must be "VERIFIED" to move forward in our application review. Regardless of the reason, unverified applications will not be reviewed.

    2.  Colorado Supplemental Application (CSA) + Fee

    • Access and submit the application AND pay the nonrefundable supplemental application fee.

    Once the VMCAS and CSA are submitted, you cannot modify your application. Please do not send application materials or transcripts outside the application; only what is included in your application will be reviewed.

    TRACKING RECEIPT OF APPLICATION MATERIALS
    You must submit your application to view your "Application Status" page. Your Application Status page will show all activity associated with your CSA, including receipt of application materials.

    YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TRACK RECEIPT OF VMCAS MATERIALS THROUGH YOUR CSA APPLICATION PORTAL STARTING OCTOBER 31
    • September 15: data freeze for LORs received in the VMCAS portal
    • ~October 15: data freeze of VMCAS Application data & verification completed
    • October 31: VMCAS Application + LORs shown as "received" in your CSA application portal (for verified applications only)
